Philosophy at Work - 2020 Report Launch
June 16, 2020
We’re excited to announce that Philosophy at Work’s 2020 report is now live!
The Virtues of Virtual uncovers fresh, practical insight by making new connections between the ancient Greek thinking of Aristotle and the current challenges involved in navigating remote work.
Drawing on analysis, expert interviews and features from the worlds of tech, legal and career development, the report introduces and unpacks 5 ‘virtues of virtual’ – democracy, accountability, clarity, collegiality, and understanding. To enhance the practical application of the insights shared, each section of the report ends with a set of suggested questions that organisations and teams can ask in order to thrive in their own unique blend of virtual experience.
We are incredibly grateful to the brilliant friends of Philosophy at Work who contributed their expertise and experience. The report includes interviews and feature articles from: Bruce Daisley (ex-Twitter VP and author of Eat, Sleep, Work Repeat), Naeema Pasha (Directorof Careers at Henley Business School), Susie Alegre (International Human Rights Lawyer), Michelle Davies (People VP at Phrasee), Jon Barnes (Author of Democracy Squared), Samantha Clarke (Changemaker, and Author of Love It or Leave It), and Nexthink (the global leader in digital employee experience management).
You can flip through or download the full report to digest what the The Virtues of Virtual might mean to you and your team here.
We really enjoyed putting our 2020 report together, and we hope that what you find in its pages helps you and your organisation think your best and help you navigate the changing world of work successfully.
All the best,
Philosopher and Founder of Philosophy at Work
