LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT TRAINING
Whatever the topic, our learning and development training workshops will equip your people to develop more effective ways of working. While all of our sessions are evidence based and rooted in good ideas, we don’t end there. Participants will leave our sessions with the tools, confidence and understanding needed to apply their learning to their own, changing context. The skills we teach make a real difference. Choose the topic below that is currently most important to your work.
HOW OUR TRAINING GETS RESULTS
Our sessions add value because they are inviting, substantive and genuinely useful.
You won’t learn if you’re not challenged, but you can’t learn if you’re afraid. Our training sessions are grounded in research, and designed to get positive results. But while rigour is key to what we do, we also understand that pretence and pressure inhibit real growth. During our training sessions participants are guided toward greater development in a supportive and confident way.
We understand that real positive change requires a thoughtful approach. It may be possible to pick up some quick tips and tricks for managing a particular challenge, but the pace of change and uncertainty characterising work today calls for the ability to wield more substantive tools in ways none of us have yet imagined. With this in mind, our training sessions always incorporate practical takeaways that can be applied immediately in everyday work to bring positive change, but we go further to ensure that the source and workings of those tools are understood. The result is a learning experience that does not just deliver practical solutions for professional challenges but equips you to adapt your approach as the landscape of your work changes. For example, when we teach people how to effectively build trust, resilience or collaboration, they take away a deeper knowledge of each skill, which enables them to continue developing their own practice as circumstances change.
We are philosophers. We naturally love ideas. But we agree with the ancient Greek thinker Epicurus who believed that philosophy is empty if it does not relieve human suffering. Our sessions dive into the meaning and value of relevant concepts because we know that doing so is a critical component of generating new perspectives and making lasting behavioural change. With that grounding in hand, we then give participants useful, practical tools that take them farther because they have a deep understanding of how the tools work. In short, our training workshops begin with groups thinking better, and they end with them doing better. If you’d like to start a conversation with us about how our training can help your people think better and do better, send us a message. We’d love to support the work you are doing.
